Freight is the largest variable cost in a vermicelli import programme. Knowing your carton counts before booking avoids under-loading, over-loading and demurrage. Below is the loading summary we give to every new customer.
Vermicelli lines
Premium Longkou Vermicelli (250 g x 40 bags) loads 520 cartons / 5.2 MT in a 20′ container and 1,300 cartons / 13 MT in a 40′ high-cube. Longkou Vermicelli and Tiantan Vermicelli (1,000 g x 25) load 210 cartons / 5.2 MT in a 20′ and 520 cartons / 13 MT in a 40’HQ.
Sweet potato vermicelli
Sweet Potato Vermicelli (500 g x 30 and 400 g x 30) loads approximately 6.3 MT in a 20′ container and 15 MT in a 40′ high-cube.
Mixed containers
Our fresh noodle range — udon, ramen, pad Thai and sliced noodle — can be combined with vermicelli inside a single 40′ high-cube container. This is the most common configuration for distributors launching a full Asian noodle category.
Documentation
Every shipment is accompanied by a packing list confirming carton counts, net and gross weights. Certificates of analysis and other export documents are available on request.
